Dying Light

Well another busy week! Ive also quit smoking (yay go me) Actually it’s my second day. I FINALLY HAVE DYING LIGHT!!!

Ok so first things first. Freakin awesome game! I feel so behind because moneys been tight, i’m busy working all week so Saturday i managed to play some and today i have played ALOT.
Seriously, if you don’t like zombies you will after playing this.

I love the whole free running concept. STAY ON THE ROOFS! But i mean come on you still want to get down and dirty with the ole zombs.
Some really tough ones as well so beating the crap out of them has such an accomplished feel.

The storyline is actually pretty interesting. I hate to be a buttface but i will not tell you the story. I hate ruining it for people especially that i have yet to complete this game. Alls i can say is it has CO-OP which i have yet to try out and  will post about that another time as i think it deserves it’s own post.

You aren’t supposed to go out at night as you will come across some real nasty monsters and they zombies become more aggressive. but you get such a huge adren rush when you are out at night. It really freaks me out if im honest but your xp points double if you can survive it at night. You have to avoid the nasties but trying to kill them which i havent done yet i’ve pretty much ran for my life every time will probably give you even more points. Traps are set up all over the city that you come across and can activate.

You get to skill points so you can level up abilities and skills which seems to be a common thing now in games.
You can collect blue prints to create items. Herbs and plants as well for boosters.
Looting and searching places is a must thing because that’s the only way you get items you need to craft. Which in any apocalypse is pretty much a MUST DO thing.
Selling and trading items are available as well so when you collect pointless crap you can get yourself some kaching.
Air drops are pretty much a battle for, you need to get there before anyone else.

So i’m not someone that writes reviews but i just give you guys my thoughts about games and i may even suck at that.

Also am i being stupid that i got a little angry about a friend who completed this game in a week? Something about being passionate about a certain game and someone not being bothered so much and just wanted to complete it and not experience EVERYTHING their is really bugs me.

  1. Dying Light has an enormous amount of side content (some parts more engaging than other parts) so I can appreciate why some may just run through the story. I loved Dying Light but three weeks in even my patience started to wain near the end. Doesn’t help that the side content is much more interesting on the second map, rather than the first.
