Not everyone can enjoy the purchasing of new games, especially with next gen consoles being a little bit more in price. People have other commitments and this can be really depressing if you hear your friends talk about a new game they’ve bought and you REALLY want it but can’t afford.
Recently this has become an issue for me, the game i wanted the most this year was Dying Light but due too now being in a new job i have to wait until payday to be able to buy this UNTIL i found another option.
I am currently using a rental service called Boomerang. You pay monthly for a package and you get to rent games, for as long as you want. (REALLY WOW) Yep, you don’t have a time limit on how long you want the game for!
Different packages provide a certain service. I am currently paying £13.99 a month and i am allowed two games at the same and it’s unlimited on the amount of games in the total month. So i could have two games, complete them both in a week and then get sent out two more once i send those ones back (I rarely have the time these days to be able to game that hard! ) They have something that fits everyones needs, you might only just one game so why not pay less? Some packages offer a 1 game at a time and only limited to two games per month, the choose is literally yours.
They also offer a buy service so if you wish to keep the game, you simply send back the game you have and they will send out a brand new one. Believe it or not they are not over expensive on the prices of buying the games but with being given the option to rent for as long as you want you wont need that option.
I am still in the first 4 days of a 21 day trial which sadly doesn’t let me have the experience of the package i will be paying for but i still get to have 3 games (Sent out only one at a time once you’ve sent one back) to test and try out the service. All in the course of 21 days! Believe it or not the first game i chose was Sunset over drive, that same night i got an email to say it was dispatched and within two days it came.
SO guys this is not me advertising the company, i heard about this from a friend and its safe to say its legit and pretty awesome!
If your someone that completes a game, hunts for all the achievements and then ends up either sitting on your shelf or trading it in, this is something you should consider.
BTW SUNSET OVERDRIVE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh i should add for 360 and ps3 consoles it actually on costs you 11.99 a month.
